This RAB Lighting GT500 Gotcha black outdoor sensor is made with polycarbonate for resistance to corrosion, has a double-layer infrared detection pattern that spans 110 degrees, and is suitable for switching floodlights on and off according to the presence of daylight or a heat signature within range of the detection pattern. It can be used with lights up to a 500 watt total capacity and has built-in surge protection of up to 6,000V). It has a photoelectric control that automatically deactivates the unit during daylight. It compensates for ambient temperature, and has a manual override feature that resets itself to automatic after six hours or at dawn. Both the detector sensitivity and the switch-on time are adjustable. This outdoor sensor is Underwriters Laboratories (UL) listed as suitable for use in wet locations. It can be used in a variety of outdoor switching applications.
